Grape Jelly Meatballs

  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 8 slices of bread, torn into pieces
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley, optional
  • 16 oz barbecue sauce
  • 14 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 C grape jelly
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13-by-9-inch pan or casserole dish and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, spaghetti sauce, grape jelly, lemon juice, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Blend well and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, onions, bread pieces, garlic salt and parsley, if using. Mix thoroughly and form into 2-inch balls. Place into the pan or casserole dish prepared in step one.
  4. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and bake for 90 minutes. Makes approx. 50 meatballs.
